Administration notes
The use of the
word Club means The Barn Hotel Health
Club.
Membership
All Annual
Membership applications are to run for a full 12 month Contract period.
Should any Member
wish to terminate their Contract before the contracted expiry date, Company
policy is that no refunds are authorised.
Membership will
not be extended for any reason including holidays, or for non-use of the Club.
Membership can be
put on hold through injury purposes, subject to medical notes / supporting
documentation for up to six months.
The Management
are under no obligation to accept, renew or extend any Club Membership.
Upon joining as a
Member, a Joining Fee and Admin Fee is payable, under no circumstances is this
fee refundable.
If a Member
ceases their Membership, for whatever reasons, then they will be liable to pay
a new Admin Fee, upon re-joining.
Annual Membership
fee is payable on its anniversary where no new Joining or Admin Fee is
required.
Members
who elect to pay by direct debit, will have the amount relating to the monthly
fee according to the Subscription(s) collected monthly.
The Management
reserve the right to alter direct debit payments with 30 days written notice.
We will contact
you to discuss alternate forms of payment if your direct debit is returned unpaid by your Bank or Building
society.
Failure to pay a
Membership fee will result in termination of the Membership to the Club.
Child Membership
ceases when the Child reaches the age of 16 years, where they can transfer to
an Adult Membership.
Any one wishing
to upgrade their Membership at any stage will be liable for the full difference
concerning pro rota to the Membership charges.
Should any
facility, piece of equipment or service be out of order, no refund of
Membership fees will be offered.
All applications
for Membership must be completed on the appropriate Club application forms.
Acceptance of
Membership is at the sole discretion of the Management, no reason for refusal
to the Membership scheme will be given.
Daily operational
hours are subject to change with 14 days’ notice.
Membership Cards
Each Member of
the Club will be issued with a Membership Card.
Members must
swipe their card upon entry to the Club failure to do so may result in
termination of membership.
The Membership
Card will remain the property of the Club at all times and if requested, be
produced to a Member of the Club Team.
Any loss or
damage of Membership Card(s) must be reported. There is an administration
charge of £3.00 for replacement Membership Cards.
Termination of Membership
Membership
Transfer is at the discretion of the Management.
Any Member who
misuses the facilities or abuses the Rules, Regulations and Terms and
Conditions of the Club will have their Membership terminated immediately.
Members who pay by direct debit wishing to terminate their Membership will
need to give one month’s written notice to the Club Manager,
One final full payment will be taken from your
account after receiving the cancellation letter. Entry to the club is permitted
for this final month.
The Club reserves
the right to terminate any Membership without notice, at the sole discretion of
the Management.
Housekeeping
Children under
the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an Adult Member (Over 18 years of
age) at all times.
Adult memberships
are permitted to bring no more than two guests on any one visit to the Club.
Charges as Guest
Fees are applicable and are subject to increase without prior notice. The Guest
is the responsibility of the Member during their visit.
Smoking is not
permitted within the Club at any time. Consumption of Alcohol is not permitted
within the Club at any time.
Anybody under the
influence or suspected to be under the influence of Alcohol, or Drugs will not
be permitted to use the Club and be asked to leave.
All Members must
complete a Health Screen Form/ PARQ and undertake an induction / programme
before using the Gymnasium.
Appropriate
clothing and footwear must be worn at all times.
In the interest
of hygiene Members must shower before using each of the wet side facilities.
No Running,
Jumping or Diving is permitted in the pool. Chewing Gum is not permitted within
the Club.
Shaving is not
permitted within the Sauna and Steam Room. No Food other than that sold at the
Club Reception is to be consumed within the Club.
No glass items
are permitted within the Club.
Use of equipment and the facility
Each Member of
the Club is responsible for ensuring that they are properly equipped and in a
state of health and physical condition.
as such not to
pose any risk to themselves or others.
Members and their
Guests are responsible for their own insurance arrangements in respect to
injuries or belongings.
We provide
regular inductions and programme reviews explaining the health, safety and
proper use of all equipment.
Members or their
Guests must not use any equipment unless shown by a member of the Club Team.
The Club and/or
the Hotel will not take any responsibility for any loss or injury to you to the
extent that is caused or contributed
to by your unsafe or improper use of the
equipment or any of the facilities.
Any changes in
Health conditions must be notified by the Member to the Club Manager and a new
Health Screen form to be completed.
We reserve the
right to amend or cancel classes without prior notice.
